We had a belated celebration for H’s 7th birthday today, taking 14 boys & 1 girl for a Castaway Party at the fantastic Wilderness Woods in Hadlow Down.  For 2 hours they built a shelter out of fallen branches, covered themselves in camouflage and lit a fire on which they sizzled sausages and cooked marshmallows.  [...]
